We sail on the beautiful Shearwater Lake from March to November.
Club days when there is usually racing are Sundays and Tuesday evenings but members can sail on any day although they are encouraged to sail with at least one other boat.
Many members prefer to use the lake for social sailing and to develop their sailing skills. We do not run sailing courses but Club members are often available to provide help and assistance.
The Club has a well equipped club house and several sailing boats that can be hired by members who do not own their own.

The lake has suffered from outbreaks of blue-green algae but we hope the preventative measures introduced by the fishermen will work in 2024.
