We are a small friendly Club fortunate to sail on the beautiful Shearwater lake surrounded by woodland on the Longleat Estate.
Sailing takes place from March to November and members are free to sail on any day. Racing is on Sundays and on many Tuesday evenings.
The Club has a well equipped club house and several sailing boats that may be hired for a small cost by those members who do not have their own boats. You could join and offer to crew if you have not sailed before.
If you are interested why not visit the Club on a Sunday and ask to be shown around. There will usually be a Committee member in the club house, dinghy park or starter’s hut who can help you. If you want to get in touch please contact the membership secretary or myself.
