Also, for your diaries,

The Dinner Dance and Prize Giving is on Friday 22nd November, 7pm – 11.30pm at ‘The Mill at Rode’

This is a lovely venue, with a great choice from the 3-course menu, room to dance, white tablecloths….Tickets are £25 for adults and £15 for those in full time education. They will be on sale early in October.

New Members we would like to know how it’s been for you this year please. We feel that we should have offered you a ‘sailing buddy’ or other personal contact in the club. Would this be useful? Have you any other suggestions please? I will be ringing you to find out what you think, but you could email me if you’d rather. When I joined it was Colin Newton who helped me when I capsized beside the pontoon on the first thrash. We hope everyone finds their ‘Colin Newton’!

See you on the water!

Peter, Commodore for 2013.
